EXCELLENTTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. SS800 - good shower but some flaws. Shower itself works fine, as does all functionality on the back panel But there are issues to bear in mind : - the volume difference between radio & bluetooth is huge. - some shiny silver bits are actually plastic (sadly common in bathrooms) so the 'silver' flakes off. - aesthetically pleasing but with the shower head central on the RHS back and the shelf on the LHS back, your space is restricted. - you cannot simply plug this into a socket (outside your bathroom), you need a spark to hardwire it. Factor this into your costs. - after a month or two of use, I already have a small crack in the base under the back plate though this does not appear to be leaking. - the manual advises that the steam function should not be used for over 15 mins. I would have liked longer. - part of the drainage cup split soon after installation, so involved extra plumber costs to replace. - the rubber baffles on the shower door do not fit perfectly, so some steam escapes here & condenses onto the foor. - the plastic cover over the steam vent does not fit very well. The force of the steam easily pushes it off & you could scald your feet, but some wire through the vents does hold it in place. All that said - it IS a decent shower/steam unit. Much cheaper by going direct to them rather than a plumbing shop for example. It was easy to order our steam cabin shower and arranging delivery was also easy and done through emails. The shower was well packaged on a pallet and no parts were damaged due to this. One pack of steam oils did go missing in shipping and was replaced straight away with a simple phone call. The shower itself is holding up well with 4 months of daily use and no issues. I recommend a window squeegee for getting the excess water off the glass after every use.
